On Monday, a deadly shooting occurred at the Washington Navy Yard where at least 13 people were killed and four were injured. The people responsible were described as three gunmen dressed in soldier like gear who looked as if they were on a rampage. One of the soldiers died supposedly served in the U.S. Navy for four years himself but the other two are still roaming around and they may attack again. One gunmen was described as a black male, 50 years old wearing a green military uniform. The other gunmen was a young white male also wearing a navy combat uniform. It is viewed as a terrorist attack by resident Barak Obama who is trying very hard to stop attacks at these. In my opinion I think it's very little you can do because you don't know who, where, or when the attacks will take place. The first attack from the gunmen was in the morning near Washington's Headquarters. Dozens of police reacted to the scene very fast in search of the deadly terrorist insurgents along with many helicopters. Immediately police cars and helicopters were surrounding the white house to make sure the gunmen wouldn't attack there. It's a good thing they didn't get to the white house because things would have gotten worse. This incident isn't really anything new to the U.S.A as we have dealt with similar problems in the past. We have experienced a number of devastating terrorist attacks such as 9/11, the Boston bombing, poisoned mail sent to the white house, and the various shootings at universities/high schools. The truth is just that we are living in a crazy world with crazy people. The question is why people keep doing things like this? We will never grow as a nation if people keep hurting one another for no reason at all. It's just sad that we have to witness these types of things within our own country by our own people.
